Terms of Use
Last updated: June 20, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of BakeZoo, including our website, applications, services, tools, and related features. By using BakeZoo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Our Service
BakeZoo provides a marketplace where customers can discover and order locally made baked goods and other prepared items from independent sellers. Sellers are responsible for their products, listings, pricing, availability, fulfillment, pickup details, and compliance with applicable food, business, tax, and safety laws.
2. Accounts
You may need an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly update account details when they change. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
3. Orders and Payments
Product availability, prices, pickup times, cancellation options, refunds, and seller policies may vary by seller. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, and your use of those services may be subject to their terms. BakeZoo may refuse, cancel, or limit orders where required by law, platform rules, suspected fraud, or service availability.
4. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers must provide accurate listings, honor accepted orders, communicate clearly with customers, and comply with all laws and regulations that apply to their business and products. Sellers are solely responsible for obtaining any required permits, licenses, registrations, inspections, insurance, and tax reporting.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse BakeZoo, interfere with the service, violate any law, infringe another party's rights, upload harmful code, send abusive or misleading messages, scrape the service without permission, or use BakeZoo for fraudulent, unsafe, or unauthorized activity.
6. Content
You retain ownership of content you submit, such as product details, photos, reviews, messages, and profile information. You grant BakeZoo a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, modify, and use that content as needed to operate, promote, protect, and improve the service.
7. Reviews and Communications
Reviews, messages, and other communications must be honest, respectful, and relevant. BakeZoo may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms, create safety concerns, or harm the integrity of the marketplace.
8. Intellectual Property
BakeZoo, including its name, logos, design, software, and platform content, is owned by BakeZoo or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the service except as expressly allowed by BakeZoo.
9. Disclaimers
BakeZoo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that seller products will meet every expectation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BakeZoo disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BakeZoo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or service interruption arising from or related to your use of BakeZoo.
11. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to BakeZoo if we believe you violated these terms, created risk for other users, misused the service, or if continued access would expose BakeZoo or others to legal, financial, or safety risk.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Your continued use of BakeZoo after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.
13. Contact
